It's manual mode of switching. Wish I could do it remotely. The switch slides.

I bought this cable and cannot get it to appear in color. Please advise if I need another cord or a different one all together to fix this?
What device are you plugging it into (from the TV)? Are you sure you the green plugged into the green on the back of tv, and the blue plugged into the blue?
