I've tried a lot of the other streamers and i feel SHIELD is the most capable.
4K HDR catalog is great because SHIELD has Netflix, Amazon Video and Vudu in HDR.
Youtube experience is better than other streamers - you have full search integration, but you can even say show me the latest Tonight Show or ask to play any Music Video and it just direct plays into the Youtube Video. It also seems youtube on SHIELD supports 360 so you can use your remote to see shows in 360 on SHIELD. i know neither of this works on my Roku or Fire TV.
I also use Plex and it seems SHIELD is the only streamer that supports Plex as a client and server device.
Finally, it is nice that SHIELD has also integrated Samsung Smartthings Hub. I am just started to set up a smart home in my home and it is nice that i can turn on/off my lights via my SHIELD, and set routines through Samsung Integration.
I know it is a bit more expensive than other streamers, but i use my streamer more than 10 hours a week so i think it is worth the extra money.

This is one of my favorite movies from Christopher Nolan. After I bought it, I showed it to my college roommates, who loved it. We watched it two more times that week with various other friends. Everyone liked it. A great movie, with great themes, and AMAZING foreshadowing. Every time you watch it it gets better, because you notice more hints to the ending.

Must own movie for 4k UHD

This movie was shot in 6.5k and 3.5k. The digital intermediary (DI) was done in 4k. The video, although creatively darker, is reference quality. The audio is Dolby True with excellent sound design. The rear speakers are in constant use. No Dolby Atmos track but the TrueHD track is excellent. If you calibrate your 4K setup to this disc, most of your others should look good. Remember to make sure any receiver you're using has HDMI 2.0a and upgrade to 18GB HDMI cables. Don't use your old high speed cables.

We have used a number of aftermarket controllers over the years. This is by far the best. Very durable. My son uses it every day. Ridiculously easy to use out of the box. There are so many combinations of colors you can choose from for customization. There is even an app you can download onto you Xbox to change the controller and it is very easy to use. It has a 10ft cord so no more buying loads of batteries for me! It has programmable buttons. The thumb sticks have amazing action and feel very secure. Very awesome controller.

Decent and will get the job done

This is a good headset for the price point. They're spiffy and feel pretty solid. There are better headphone options for the money when it comes to music and movies, but compared to other over-ear mic/headphone combos they fit the bill.
The software is buggy and its equalizer is very limited. When it was installed a lag developed that would come and go, along with a slight latency crackle. I uninstalled the software and rebooted, allowing the headset to be picked up by Windows as a generic headset. I then installed Equalizer APO, a freeware title. I highly recommend it to people who are serious about sound.
Granted, without the SteelSeries software you probably won't be able to use DTS, set custom RGB colors, or mic noise reduction settings, but that's a small price to pay, for me. I'd rather have a decent graphic EQ and smooth performance.
With the above setup, the sound is decent and the mic is clear. A clear mic is essential to me, as I participate in regular online meetings for work. Many cheaper gaming headsets have pretty lights and lousy mics, and I have to say this mic is impressive. It's often a bit too sensitive, picking up the slightest movement of my lips and tongue. But better too sensitive than not sensitive enough.
Ear cups are comfortable, the whole headset is lightweight, it has a luxurious look and feel, and the smooth RGB fading is very pretty and tasteful.
I took off a star for the following:
- Horrendous software, as described above.
- I'm also gonna complain a little about the headband, which, while comfortable, isn't very snug and allows for too much shifting. You will not be able to head-bang or work out with these on. The tiny bit of velco stitched on for adjusting is so small they might as well not be adjustable at all (and my head isn't particularly small either -- I'm a big guy with a big head, yet these still feel sorta loose). I might add some more velcro to the band, to give it some more room for tightening.
- Also, while the sound output is ok, it's still not great. I'm something of an audiophile though, so take that with a grain of salt. Most consumers will probably be satisfied.
All in all, I feel this is a good buy, but only because of the sad state of the gaming headset market these days. My Samsung S5 phone audio with its cheap little included earbud headset out-performs most $70 gaming headsets on the market right now. The SteelSeries Arctis offers a decent bang for your buck in comparison.
