Let's see...I have an old Betamax copy, a regular DVD (probably two or three versions), a Blu-ray, and now this special Anniversary Edition. Totally worth the money. How many cheapo hair trimmers have I bought in drug stores or WalMart? Too many and they all tug, pull, fall apart, and die a swift death. This Norelco works beautifully on ears, nose, and eyebrows...even a stray hair growing a bit longer on the hairline at my collar. Only time will tell if it has staying power, but at this point, I couldn't be happier.

Few fans of science fiction and offbeat cinema in the veins of Pythonesque (Terry Gilliam) would deny that THE FIFTH ELEMENT is a little classic. We all probably have a copy or two in our collections...one DVD and one Blu-Ray. However, this repackaging with the extra features is worth another purchase...sharp, vivid color onscreen and in the box.

Without a doubt, this is the easiest printer install that I've ever experienced. If you can place a plug in a wall socket and insert a disc in a drive, then you can be up and running in minutes. We can't judge the ink economy yet, but we anticipate the usual HP value. The quality of printing is excellent and speedy from the computer; but we just got new iPhones and have not printed from a mobile device yet. Hopefully, it will be as smooth as it is from our PC. Pretty darn pleased with myself for making this choice.

PRINTER OR CARTRIDGE?

I'm not sure whether my beef is with the ink cartridges or the printer itself. My wife and I are retired and only do casual printing, nothing heavy-duty. We never print photos! However, I probably use 6 or more of the Kodak black and white and color cartridges (yes, 12 cartridges) over the course of a year. Outrageous. I'm presently shopping for a new and more economical printer that won't be so costly to use; so hopefully this will be the last review of this product for me. The cartridges are easy to store and insert for use, print quality is fine, but cost is crazy.

You can feel the quality of a Bose product by just picking it up. It's solid and feels as hefty as the sound you will hear. The touch function buttons on top of the speaker are smooth and easy to use. You won't find better sound quality in a comparable size speaker, for sure. It's our go-to device for music outdoors on the deck, even when we have company for dinner. We get lots of "Oohs and Ahhs" and I bet a number of our guests have gone out to buy one of their own.

Still Magical After All These Years

I haven't watched THE PRINCESS BRIDE in years. It's just one of those films you want to see uninterrupted by commercials or sloppy network editing. This cut reignites the magic of Rob Reiner's adult fantasy just as I remember it. Face it...most films aren't "keepers" and are a waste of money on disc. Not the case here.

Not Worth a Second Look...For Now

This Coen Brothers flick left me cold on first viewing. As an early 60s slice-of-Village-life film it was interesting to watch but not enjoy plot wise. I'd like to watch it with no dialogue--just the music. Actors were perfectly cast and Oscar was amazing, but I just felt the script was a bit empty and the whole package ended with a thud. I'm going to watch it again in a week or two and see if my mind is changed.

A Real Winner So Far!

We've used this unit three times with great results. For Thanksgiving we cooked a turkey breast (in addition to our oven-roasted bird) in it and transferred it to the oven for browning. Perfect. We like all the features except the lock-down system for the lid. It is awkward and very difficult to latch, which is not a problem for cooking, but it is for storage or transport (which we're not likely to do).
