Nice upgrade to old rubber hoses

When we bought a new washing machine, we had Best Buy install it. These are the hoses that they use when installing new machines. They are much nicer than the old rubber hoses that we had before, and we worry less about them leaking.

No more sitting in the floor to swap laundry

We got two of these pedestals to go with our new LG Steam Washer and Dryer. With our old machines, we didn't have pedestals and would practically have to sit in the floor to pull laundry from the washer and transfer it to the dryer. These pedestals are the perfect height to see inside to find that stray sock stuck to the drum. Highly recommend purchasing these.

Nice washing machine with handy features

We bought this washing machine to replace the 5 year old Samsung that exploded mid cycle. This LG Steam Washer has many nice features that our old machine did not, including a Tub Clean cycle, steam to remove stains, an allergen removal cycle, Towel cycle. The door gasket is also much easier to dry off than our old Samsung which had also developed nasty mildew. I just wipe down the LG machines gasket after the last load of the day, take out the dispenser & dump any water that may still be inside, and leave the door and dispenser open overnight. The machine is super quiet, doesn't walk across the floor like our old one, and cleans the clothes really well. We added the matching pedestals and I no longer feel like I have to sit in the floor to switch out the laundry.

Very nice upgrade to 20 year old dryer

We recently had to replace our 5 year old washer that exploded mid cycle. We decided to go ahead and replace our 20 year old dryer since it was only a matter of time before it went our as well. This LG steam dryer has many useful cycles: one for bulky items, less dry option for things that you just want to damp dry, and the steam function that uses water you add to a container. We preferred this over other brands that require the dryer be attached to the water supply. The dryer is quiet and dries clothes quickly. It looks really nice with the matching washing machine and adding the pedestals make both very easy to add and remove clothes.

It's really easy to set up Chromecast. Once set up, you can use any computer on your network to stream videos to your tv through Chromecast. Amazon Instant Video will need to have Silverlight turned off to work properly, but in my experience it asks you if you want to do that and you simply say yes. Chromecast is a very convenient and inexpensive gadget.
