Why can't they make a battery that lasts for ever? I don't understand? We can send someone to the moon but we can't develop a perpetual motion machine? Come on...put your thinking caps on and figure it out.

Spike Lee's epic biopic Malcolm X comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. A closed-captioned English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1. English and French subtitles are accessible. Considering the historical nature of the film, a certain amount of documentary footage would add to the overall presentation, but this disc lacks any supplemental materials. The picture and sound are superb and will please any admirer of this quality film.

Great Introduction to a Great Man

What a fine film. In short it is a great intro to man that mainstream Americans knew nothing about and still don't. This film introduces that group (white Americans) to a one of the most important black men in the history of theis country. I grew up during those tumultuous times and even though I don't agree with all he was about, I think he had a lot to say that was right. I highly recommend this movie to all people of any race to give you another perspective on the time in which this country nearly came to civil war, again.

Good Entertainment

Nothing bad to say about this movie. It is what it is (entertaining) and it does it well. It was not supposed to be an Oscar winner and yet it pulls off "a good time at the movies" very well. There are a lot of movies (i.e. Romantic Comedies) that try hard to that and fail miserably. This one, again, does not fail. Sit back, get yer popcorn and have a good time.

From beginning to end this movie takes you on a ride into the the mind a truly crazy psychopath. But, after all these years I needn't say more. It is timeless, and a true classic. This film was Tarantino before Tarantino even existed. I'm sure he watched this as a kid and said, I've found my calling in life. What great movie.

How can anyone really do a review of this now? It's been seen for it seems like 100 years and reviewed that long as well. It's as great now as it was when it came out. Priceless and timeless.
