its a good cable and its long to reach from an outlet to charge a phone. I can't stand that just as you have all your devices standardized they need to make a new connection type so you have to go and replace all your cables. I know it can do more, but I just need it to power a phone so it just is a bit pricey for what I really need.

This is a nice litter charger. It was a bit pricier than what you might find online, but it comes with a wall plug. Most of the cheap $15-$20 chargers is just the charger and a cable, but you still need a USB adapter with the right output level to run it. I want to use this in a location that I don't already have a device with an open USB plug so this worked perfectly.
The light on the charger is a bit bright so I don't recommend it in a room where you'd want it dark while its charging (like a bedroom when you sleep), but it is also not as picky as my other charger about how well the phone is lined up in order to charge.

Light turns off

The charger works well. It can be picky at times as far as placing it right in the center, but that really depends on how thick your case is. There was no problem without my case, but with my case I sometimes need to move it to center it better after I initially put my phone down. This is actually an issue with all chargers so I won't take a star off for this.
What I really like about it is that the blue light that turns on to let you know the phone is connected and charging will automatically turn off once the phone is fully charged. This is great for two reasons. 1 - I can tell if my phone is done charging from across the room. 2 - I use this in my bedroom next to my bed to charge overnight. The light from this and 2 other brand of charges is actually really bright when you're trying to sleep. Its great that it turns off so that it doesn't bother you all night long.

Nothing fancy here, but it works well with a clear enough picture. If you have a complicated home setup or are really concerned with the highest quality pictures you may want to spend more on a nicer tv. Great for a basic, but large tv for a college student.

No rumble and has a cord.
The cord length is pretty long so its not too cumbersome, and for long playing sessions is a plus because you don't have to worry about battery life. Also no wireless signal interference. Some people may not like that it doesn't have a rumble system, but it makes it smaller so that my kids can hold the controller easier.
Simple plug and play and worked great without any problems with every steam game which I've tried it on (I've only tried it on games which were specifically designed for use with controllers).

Charges without a usb cord

The device has you insert a piece into your usb charging port at the top. it then curves around and sits between your hands as you play. Then when you set the controller in the dock, the contacts on the portion between your hands connect to the dock and charge.
Its actually much more convenient than plugging it into the PlayStation itself and lets you charge your remotes next to your chair or couch even if the PlayStation itself is across the room.
The only drawback is the connector that attaches to the controller gets loose over time and feels like its going to constantly fall out. It still works fine, but I sometimes worry I'm going to lose that piece. If i do, the whole thing won't work anymore.

Great way to add money to your PlayStation store account without giving them your info. This is especially good if you're worried about Sony being hacked again, but what I use it for is so my kids can buy a game or so but there's no risk of them going crazy and racking up a ridiculous CC bill.
Also BB will occasionally have buy one get one % off deals. Then you get $20 credit for Sony but had to pay less than $20.

Very good camera

Nice picture, clear sound (when using their apps or directly accessing the camera). A little slow on the reaction time to move the tilt manually, but overall a very good camera. I really didn't play with the recording functions much.
I tried to integrate it into my system by connecting to the camera directly without using their servers and apps. Video worked perfectly, but the sound was transmitted in a format that wasn't compatible and I had to return it. With all the functionality and options this camera comes with, its a shame the audio wasn't a little more compatible.
My wife didn't like the color scheme much and wished it was a solid color, but I personally didn't care as I am more of a function over form kind of a person.

This model only charges one. They have other models that will charge two (maybe more).

You can control remotely. I believe it also has an option to set automatic scans also.

Can this camera be moved to multiple homes easily?
Yes, as long as you have good internet access in each location. May take a few min. to set up with each wifi network, but after a few times you should be practiced enough set it up in 5-10 min.

Would this camera work in a hotel room? If so what all is needed. We do a lot of traveling and sometimes have to leave our dog in the room by herself and need to know if this unit or what unit would best suits us for traveling.
The problem would be connecting your camera to the internet at the hotel. If the hotel doesn't make your computer go to a special landing page where you agree to terms and conditions you should be fine. If it does requires a click through webpage, I don't know how you would authenticate the webcam without some sort of intermediary device. You can buy an access point device or use a laptop to get around this issue, but the setup would be more complicated and it makes it more expensive.

App required?
I've had issues in the past purchasing security cameras that require apps to be downloaded in order to work - I do not want to view video on my phone and do not want additional apps on my phone. Does this product require an app to work?
It can be used with a desktop, so an app is not necessary. However, I did not personally try the browser version on a mobile device to see how user friendly it was.

No cell phone service
I do not have cell phone service at location of use. I do have wifi. Can I monitor remotely? Use in TN live in NJ.
Shouldn't be a problem. If you register your camera with mydlink, the camera will send the feed to dlink's servers and you can access it there regardless of what type of connection you're using to get to dlink's site/app.

Which version are you selling: Revision A or Revision B ?
This camera has two versions: Revision A (the older) and Revision B. Some retailers are still selling the former. Which version are you selling and how can I tell from the model number?
Bought mine in-store in June of 2016. It was revision B. However, inventory and stock at your particular location or the exact warehouse they send it from may vary. If you get it in-store, the version is clearly marked on the bottom of the box so its easy to tell.

Does camera need a wall outlet to work? If so, do you have a " Backup Battery" in case electrical power shuts off?
Comes with an adapter that plugs into a standard outlet. There wasn't a backup battery, but it could always be plugged into a backup power source rather than directly to an outlet.
