Works great. It had great reviews and features for the price were very appealing. Still learning/trying the feature buttons but the one's we have used work really well. Installation instructions were very clear, installed right on the first try (had to replace old wall bracket and drill new holes but it went very well). Highly recommended.

is the microwave ventless
can this microwave be use without venting outside? need a ventless microwave
It comes ready to vent into the room, so external venting is not required. Ventless? The vent is to draw from the range top, through the carbon filter and into the room or it can be adjusted to vent externally (if you have that available). I suppose you don't have to run it?

Can this oven be installed as a vented to the outside?
Yes, there are instructions for into room and external venting. Fan unit needs adjusted for external, looks pretty straight forward in the manual.

What is the CFM rating?
Carbon Footprint M? I suppose that really depends on your usage. There isn't anything in the manual about it.

Can I cook something after I've set the timer?
If I have set the timer, can I cook something in the microwave at the same time. And if I have something cooking in the microwave, can I set the timer?
Yes to both. Separate functions.

what type of mounting is required?
There is a wall mount bracket that supports the bottom of the back of the unit (unit drops into two slots and unit pivots up into place). There is an installation template and at least two holes need drilled. 2 x wood screws into studs or 2 x lag bolts into drywall hold the bracket in place. If you have the same brand and size you "may" not need to replace what you have. The front is held in place with two long screws which need holes drilled in the bottom of the overhead cabinet (template for these too). There is a third hole required in the bottom of the overhead cabinet for the plug to pass through (you need a standard 110V three prong outlet in the overhead cabinet). If you are replacing a unit it will be there.

Noise levels of vents
How noisy is this microwave? How many vent levels are there?
4 speeds. High is fairly loud, but moving that much air is - it is really moving. There are two installation options, vent into room and vent through wall to exterior. Mine is installed with internal venting, so I am sure the noise I get is the maximum when on High. Low setting is really quiet. Neat feature I didn't notice prior to installing is the fan can be set to sense range top heat and will turn on vent when it senses heat.
