This full sized keyboard has a numeric keypad and all the requisite Mac function keys. I use it when doing extensive work with my MacBook Air. The comfort level this keyboard provides while typing makes it a highly worthwhile add-on for me. The keys are responsive and have very good travel and feel. The Logitech dongle works flawlessly connecting to my Mac. The solar charging feature is the icing on the cake. I don't need to replace batteries, ever.

Great batteries

Duracell batteries last longer than other brands. I use them in universal remote controls and the longevity is considerably more than others I have tried. You can find cheaper batteries, but none last as long.

If you haven't read the books in the Expanse series, don't worry. The SyFy series is true to the storyline. The science is plausible -- it makes sense and doesn't rely on a large amount of science fiction mumbo jumbo. The cast is remarkably good, surprisingly so. The production values are better than I expected. And Shoreh Aglashdoo, as a senior UN official, is stunning. Just to hear her speak makes watching this series worthwhile.

Very Good Subwoofer for Home Theater

Good, solid bass without boominess. I bought this to replace a 5 year old smaller powered subwoofer which died of old age. The Pioneer was more than an replacement. It was an upgrade. After connecting to my Pioneer 5.1 A/V receiver and adjusting the frequency cutoff and volume controls I found the sweet spot for my living room.
Response is just what I want: good low end for music and a powerful response for "action" movies. But no thumping or booming.
I thought the price was quite good for a subwoofer that performs this well.

Giant Robots v. Giant Monsters

If character development and believable plot are what you desire, you won't like this movie. If you like to see giant robots piloted by two human beings bashing giant monsters from another dimension, this is for you. Idris Elba gives a remarkable performance as the head of the Jaeger program despite the limitations of the plot. The special effects -- the best part of the movie -- are believable and stunning and make the transition to DVD very well. I enjoyed this film for what it was: a romp, an action packed smackdown that worked to perfection on my home theater and 60 inch flatscreen.

I had to have this movie for my DVD collection. I enjoyed the old school matinee serial suspense, wonderful characters, and the daring do of Indiana Jones. The transfer to DVD isn't flawless, but high enough quality to not be much of an issue, at least for me. If you liked this movie in the theater, seeing it on your home theater and large flat screen lets you relive the experience as many times as you wish.

Versatility in Silicon - better than a Smart TV

All in all, a marvelous device which probably is making some Smart TVs a little envious. This device will make your "dumb" TV into more of a "smart" TV than a Smart TV.
I have lots of videos on my home NAS device. The WD TV Live Media Player easily handles .mkv, .mp4, .m4v, .wmv formats. That is important because it means I don't have to transcode my video sources to a single format.
The WD TV Live has wireless networking built in. It works well for me using 802.11n from my home network. I originally connected using a Powerline adapter, but when I switched to the internal wireless capability, I didn't notice any degradation in image quality or performance. ( I have a pretty good router and a clear path from the router to the WD TV Live, so your mileage may vary. ) If you don't want to stream from your network -- or you don't have network attached storage -- connect a portable hard drive or a flash drive containing media to one of the USB ports and you'll love it. Music, video, photos - the WD TV Live responds elegantly.
Several Internet Media sources come preloaded, such as Netflix, Pandora, Huluplus, YouTube, etc. I don't use them all, but have found Netflix, Launchpad, and YouTube work just fine.
The user interface for the device is pleasant enough and easy to use. It does take a bit of getting used to -- things are organized differently than previous versions of WD set top box devices. The learning curve is not steep at all and the process of acclimating to the new interface went swiftly for me.
I have a Logitech Harmony remote which controls my home theater, but I find myself using the WD remote that came with this unit from time to time. Iit is not too small, not too big, rationally laid out, and works quite well.
Connecting to my AV receiver was a breeze. I ran an HDMI cable from the WD TV Live to the receiver and that was it. The WD TV Live provides 5.1 audio goodness to my receiver. The audio quality is, to my ears, first rate.
