The only issue I ran into so far is that the experience momentary drop out on a somewhat consistent basis even when my phone is in my pants pocket which I believe should not happen especially because of the branding and that they are known for the technology they put in their headphones

Will this router be able to replace the xfinity router but this router has a cable that connects to it and the Asus one does not. So how will this work?
I believe you are describing a modem that you rent from Comcast. This device is to give off a Wi-Fi signal only and does not operate as a modem. If you are looking for a modem and Wi-Fi router in one you can look at the Motorola SURFboard line.

Why is it not available, it's May 22?
It keeps giving me an error message when trying to add these to my cart. I also called my local store and they aren't even showing it in their computer inventory screens. Did TB delay these or something?
I had the same issue, I ended up having it shipped from a store 2 hours away since no store in my area had them. the headset did come out on the 22nd but bestbuy did not have them.
