I bought this washer with the matching dryer a couple of months ago. I struggled with the purchase of these machines because of the expense but I was replacing my broken washer and had no choice. I researched a great deal on the internet, salesmen, servicemen, and consumer reports. This is my fourth washer in 30 years. I have four children and do a lot of washing. The previous washers were Kenmore, Whirlpool, and Maytag Atlantis. I am very pleased with the washer and dryer so far. The washer cleans very well and the spin dry cycle is so fast that I barely need to dry my clothes. I am sure that what I am saving in electricity for the dryer will pay for the expense of the appliance in a short period of time. I do wish the temperature settings were lit up.
