I finally switched from my 13 year old Escort 8500 which was top of the line back then but sadly was constantly picking up false alerts now with the change in radar technology. The X70 feels the same but much more quiet than it's ancestor. Plus love the change in the sound and voice prompts for alerts. The X70 now makes me want to eventually upgrade to the Max 360 in due time...

Will this grind up almonds, chia and flax seeds? I'm looking for a powder consistence.
In liquid It's powerful enough to break them up not sure about the powder consistency though. I do use chia seeds with no issues in my smoothies I would recommend going with the chopped almonds so the blender has less to break up if your still going to try it out though.
