Two defective units, then one good one

The first one that I received was shipped to me defective. It would not turn on. Samsung said that I would have to return it to Best Buy.
When I got my replacement unit at my local Best Buy, I brought it home, only to have the software not properly loaded. I spent 30 minutes or so on the phone with Samsung to get it operable.
It now works fine, as did my previous Acer, but my confidence is Samsung is a little shaken. Where is the quality control check before packing these up for shipment, Samsung?

Not sure that I understand how the apps work yet. I have to work on that.
I would definitely encourage a sound bar if you like to watch movies.
