Great camera for beginner

I was looking into purchasing my first DSLR. After much researching I chose this camera. It has not disappointed. I am just learning all the features but first impression is that it is awesome. The photo quality is great (as advertised). I bought the bundle that comes with the two lenses. I'm glad I did. I've already used them both plenty.
Cons: It is not the fastest camera in terms of shutter speed. But I knew that going in. However, it is plenty fast for what I am using. Including some actions shots (sports, kids playing).
Anything faster required the next model up which I did not want to spend. Or going with another brand but sacrificing picture quality. I chose the picture quality and staying within my budget.
