Great reception & long-life rechargable battery

My gym broadcasts cardio-area TV sound over FM. The digital tuning and 10 presets work perfectly in this environment. The small size is great too. But there's no speaker & headset isn't included. Watch the battery level, there's no audible warning! I charge about every 3-4 days with cardio workout use at the gym only.

Does this also have AM reception?
Only HD FM and FM seem to be specified. Can it also receieve AM band channels?
No.

My computer does not recognize this device to charge, is there a portable charger that would work with this HD radio?
The documentation lists charging specs. I just use the USB charger that came with my camera. It works fine. Also, the unit display will show when it's charging. It doesn't matter if the computer recognizes it or not, the charge function is strictly electrical.

USB Port works fine with other devices such as UPS exteran DVD device but still does not recognize HD Radio.
I have plugged in an APC Back UPS and a a External DVD-ROM Drive, both work just fine but still can not get computer to recognize HD Portable Player. Is there anything else that would cause this problem?
USB is for battery charging only. Use headphone jack for sound output.

where can i get the cable to use the unit with my car stereo?
i want to play the radio through my car radio and need the cable listed on the package
You can get a male-to-male 3.5mm cable anywhere electronics are sold, including BB.
