A nice dryer but not sure about the steam cycle???

The first time we tried the steam cycle it left the clothes damp but given this is our first dryer with a steam cycle we may have a learning curve on how to use it correctly. It also seems we have to dry the clothes longer than we should have to. The verdict on this appliance is still in question.

The connection to the steam dryer was not stainless steel reinforced like this kit. Both the hot and cold to the washer were stainless reinforced hosing which is what is recommended. I am not sure why the "y" connection and the hose to the steam dryer was not metal and stainless steel reinforced. I will most likely change these out at some point.
