I love this washer and my house is well sound insulated, when this thing works, It lets you know it is working. Read the manual for the timing, the clothes come out clean and it does take longer than normal washer with an impaler. I am happy with it, but if you want a washer that is stealthy and quiet this will annoy you in a heart beat.
