Not for PC

I purchased this to use as a cheaper alternative to the steam controller. Don't buy this if you plan to use it with the PC, as it requires a special adapter that only works with XP computers. The product itself is fine though.

This product worked, but not for me. My issue was that I tried using it with a steam link, and if didn't work

How big of an issue is heat in this machine? Internal heat issues is ultimately what killed my current/old HP, and I need to be able to comfortably use this on my lap while I travel. Does this get hotter than is safe/comfortable during normal usage?

Although the Spectre does become warm, it doesn't exceed it's design limitations. With the new (2016) model, the heat issue is less than it used to be. Everything else about this device is so outstanding that the minor heating is a small price to pay. It can't be beat (unless you have $2000 for a new Surface Book). Hope this helps.
