I sometimes am weary of purchasing the least expensive brand/model when I go shopping for computer equipment, but these monitors are a great value if all you are doing is office related work (i.e. Microsoft Office, Web Browsing, etc.). We use these small UPS systems to back up external monitors at work which are drive from a Laptop. They work great as we occasionally have power glitches at our office.
There is another model that has a UBS port that I prefer over this model though (so we can charge portable USB devices without taking up a port on the Laptop).

Does Best Buy sell a PDF to JPG converter software?
We use a freeware tool called Gimp. It is not obvious how to do it, but it does work. We convert from PDF to png (one image per page).
