The first one was unique (Will Smith is at his best), while the second one was a little derivative and doesn't hold up the first. But the third movie was superb in casting Josh Brolin as a young agent K. He was PERFECT in duplicating Tommy Lee Jones' character when he was older. Loved it.

A lot of people who read the books ripped the casting of Cruise to play Jack Reacher, as he is physcially nothing like the title character he portrays. But put that aside, as he is a great actor who brings the characer to life, and the story is excellent.

People expect DC to be like Marvel with their films, and why not? Marvel has enjoyed great success! But DC is building a different world than Marvel, a little darker and grittier.

Not sure why people hate the reboots. If you can think of a better way to preserve Star Trek without keeping the original cast members around forever as digital creations, go for it.
I did think the other rebooted Trek movies were better. This felt more like a TV episode than a huge blockbuster. But it was still enjoyable.

It's Apple. And it's iPad. You know exactly what you are getting. I actually prefer the Microsoft Surface, but this continues to do what I need it to do...run apps that the Surface just doesn't have. I mostly use it as an e-reader for Kindle, and for the sound engineer at our church, who can control the soundboard, and the lyrics from it.
