Quality remake with control issues.

The game captures the spirit of the originals. The graphics and music are quite good, and the stages are good fun. The controls are not the same as the original, I feel myself getting frustrated by missing simple jumps that were far easier to land in the original games. This hasn't ruined the experience for me though.

I purchased this as an open-box at my local store. I have been itching to get into 4K blu ray since online 4K sources certainly lack fidelity and leave a lot to be desired for audio. This player did not disappoint. I have no need for apps since my TV has that covered, so the lack of apps is not a detriment. After the initial update, the player is good to go. Easy to navigate menu along with a quick interface makes for a good player.

I have always been a fan of mounting my television because it allows me to control the viewing angle. I moved into an apartment and did not want to deal with anchoring the walls and subsequently patching it up when I decide to move; this stand is a good solution for that scenario. Mounted on the stand is a 43" TV with a receiver and blu ray player underneath it. The looks and swivel capabilities aside, the cable management is the best part of this stand. my set up looks much cleaner and organized since setting this up.

I have always loved A Trip to the Moon. It is a milestone in early cinema and showed what the medium was capable of. It may seem cheesy by modern standards, but there is still something endearing about the film even today. The soundtracks were modern, and they were an interesting take to say the least. There is plenty of content to merit the price.

I purchased this to go with a refurbished blu ray player on a 32" 720p smart TV. That being said, I did not want to spend more on the cable than the blu ray player. This cable is only 18 inches in length, but that's all I needed. The audio and picture quality is solid. The build quality is surprisingly good given the price. Would definitely recommend this for lower-resolution screens.
