Every iPad needs this stand or something similar to make the tablet experience more useful. Acting as a sold cover to the screen during transport, folding up to great a gripping "handle", and curling up to create a stand for the iPad, the Smart Cover does the job. Keeping the same size of the previous generation allows for easy one handed operation and minimal bulk for rationale people who don't need a massive screen in their pockets 24/7. The power and speed are fantastic, the double RAM of the 5s model makes web browsing tolerable for once, and the battery life finally gets the job done of getting through the day with spare charge left in the tank. This is what should have been offered last fall. Great upgrade.

The Zagg screen protector brings the typical quality and reputation of the brand, but may not suit everyone.
The one issue I noticed is that because the film is so thick and rubbery, using my Surface Pro's Touch Pen left lines and indentations on the protector that are visible from an angle. I was hoping that they would go away, but after a few weeks, I can still notice them. Something to be aware of if you will be writing on your tablet screen.

I just bought the Surface yesterday online here but didn't get keyboard yet. Do you have to have a keyboard to use the surface or can you just type in on the tablet on the touch screen? Are these the only keyboards that work with the Surface? I picked up a keyboard/w cover today that is blue tooth driven and wondered if I can use it since with the Surface? It says it works with iPad but didn't say anything about Surface but if the Surface has Bluetooth will it work. Does Surface have Bluetooth?
The surface has a touchscreen keyboard that you can pull up at any time. You do not need a physical keyboard, but they are useful on a device like this.
