Great Alternative to Windshield Mount

If you have a window mount that keeps falling off, or a sloped windshield making it hard to reach, this is the answer. It sits on the top of the dash and is very stable, and usually will bring the unit closer to you when driving. It's easy to remove if your navigator wants to use one of the Garmin features while driving, you don't have to detach anything, just pick up the whole assembly.

This is an awesome unit. I'm far from home on work assignments and it's absolutely great to be able to watch either live tv or dvr recordings on my laptop, tablet, or phone. The wireless feature removes the requirement to have ethernet and the dvr in close proximity to each other.
What's great about it: Easy to set up, easier to use
What's not so great: It must be manually reset in the event of a power outage.
I would recommend this to a friend!

can this be permantly mounted to dash on flush side
No need to, it stays put without having to be mounted.
