I have a Google Pixel 2XL and like using the included caller and messenger apps. To send and receive, texts, get call notifications, etc do you have to use Samsung's messenger, caller, etc? Basically, what apps have to be added?
You can answer texts directly on the watch it sends the message on your default messaging app. You can also view mms messages. You can see incoming calls and decline them but there is no speaker to answer. Probably part of the waterproofing. The only apps that need installed on your phone are the Samsung gear app and the support apps for the plug ins.
