I literally bought this as a spur of the moment purchase for the garage tv so I could connect an old laptop to it to watch media and stream things. Works well enough, and should hold up as it won't be touched, tugged or pulled. It is cheap in cost and quality, but it's just that... cheap.

Is the handle metal or plastic
I have an above the range KitchenAid microwave and the plastic
Handle got brittle from the cooktop heat and crumbled.
Called two different repairmen and they said not repairable as the glass breaks. Both said had tried on this model and always breaks. Refused to repair
