Too long and curly

I was told that I had to buy these hoses or my extended warranty through Best Buy would be void. They are too long for my application and they have a memory of being tightly curled up in their package which makes them curl and tangle. My previous washer hoses were shorter and had removable water filters and were rubber, which I know is not recommended but they did not get tangled or take up so much space. If a machine requires a certain water hose for the warranty, it should be provided and the customer should be able to order the appropriate size for their application.

Beautiful machine, but big, loud spin vibrations

The washer arrived on time, well-packaged, and is a beautiful design with appealing digital display. Since I live far from Anchorage, I had to pay for shipping and did not get the free installation. Despite following the directions closely and removing the shipping bolts on the back and leveling it perfectly, the spin cycle shakes, rattles, and rolls so much that the levels vibrated off the top of the machine during the test run and it was so loud!!!! The whole room vibrated and I didn't even run it on the top spin speed. I had a front loading commercial Amana washer for 24 years and this never happened and I grew beautiful plants on top of my washer! I called LG and they helped me troubleshoot and I will try to make the front feet a few quarter turns higher so that the nuts (bottom and top locking nuts) are separated and then elevate the back to compensate for the change and still be level. If that fails to change the situation I am told I have to order rubber cups to fit on the feet. Really? My floor is solid wood construction with a commercial vinyl and is level. Because I am far from Anchorage there is no service person to respond, so am not sure what will happen. I did purchase the Best Buy 5 year extension to the warranty so hopefully I can get this machine to behave. I ran a 22 minute turbo wash and it was ok, tho the soil and grass stains on jeans and armpit body odor was still there on the shirts even though I used an HE detergent to the appropriate level. I previously used to put some baking soda into the wash but it seems that the directions prefer liquids, so maybe I have to do more pre-treating. When it turns on there is an ascending scale of notes and when it finishes there is a descending scale of notes. I wish I could program a different song in this age of technology. I also wish I could reverse the door swing. I had to buy the stainless water hoses and they are so long that they keep trying to curl up in the tightly wound bundle they were packaged in. I was told that the warranty would be void if I didn't buy these water hoses, but my previous hoses were shorter and had built in mesh filters. So I will try to update this review when this vibration issue is resolved. But until such time, I would not be able to recommend this machine, even though it ticked all my boxes upon extensive research online and a 5 hour trip to Anchorage to look at all the top end large front loading washers available at Best Buy, Costco, Lowes, Home Depot, Allen & Pederson, and Pennies. Bottom line: when you drop a grand on a washer, it should work properly without having to spend this much time. But I am not giving up and I will update.
