Steven Spielburg's 1977 classic has finally been upgraded to 4K and that couldn't be better. We can finally see mashed potatoes, sunburnt Richard Dreyfuss and not see the Aliens in full glorious UHD 4K.
This Steelbook however leaves a lot to be desired. The cover art looks great, but the back is simply a zoom of the front image and the interior art is simply grey. It feels bit rushed and wish that it could've been given some more details. That being said, if you're a Steelbook fanatic this is definitely worth picking up. If you're just looking for an Encounter of the Third Kind on 4K, you could probably stick with the standard 4K release or the box set.

The 1986 Red Dawn is an '80's classic which everyone should see. It's surprisingly topically for the times and has some great lines, scenes, and performances. Nearly every actor in the movie is recognizable from something, from Bodhi to Lorraine McFLy and Jeannie Bueller, to Brett (from Alien) and Mickey (from P ee Wee's Big Adventure).
This Shout! Factory Blu-ray release has some nice extras and excellent packaging, especially if you can get ahold of one with a slipcover. The inside cover is also reversible from the Shout design to the original poster. I recommend this release to any one who doesn't already own the original Red Dawn on Blu-Ray.

The 2014 Marvel movie, Guardians of the Galaxy is by far the best of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. James Gunn takes an obscure comic and turns it into one of the most fun, exciting, and heart filled movie in years. I recommend this Blu-ray as you don't only get this excellent movie, but a snazzy release with (a sure to be sought after in the future) slipcover.

Kubrick's masterful space epic gets the Blu-Ray release it deserves! For those who haven't seen this incredible 1968 film, I strongly recommend you check it out. The most groundbreaking sci-fi movie since Fritz Lang's Metropolis, '2001' sets the stage for many classics to come, from Alien and Star Wars, to Blade Runner and Interstellar.

This Best Buy exclusive Blu-Ray Steelbook is one of the best BB exclusive steels in quite a while. The entire design is quite nice, from the cover art taken from the end dream sequence, to the great looking back art, and the famous tap scene interior. The whole design fits with the film very well and looks great. Would recommend to fans of the movie or fans of great Steelbooks.
