Good Hose, But Needs to be Fastened Down

This is the standard hose that Best Buy sells when a new washer is purchased, so we didn't do any comparison shopping.
This is a totally flexible hose, as opposed to a rigid U-shaped hose that would point straight down into the drainage tub, so it needs to be fastened down to keep it in place. Delivery people (a third party, contracted service) did not fasten it in place, so we needed to do that part ourselves (which meant our washer was not balanced, nor tested when it was installed).
Better pre-installation instructions should be given prior to delivery.

Fine, but should be slightly longer

Our dryer is in a basement (older house), so it would have been great to have the venting tube be slightly longer--to ensure that it would reach from the bottom of the dryer up to the outside vent.

Dryer is Great, Delivery was Horrendous

Purchased this dryer (as well as the matching LG dryer). Although we've only had it just over a month, it seems to work well. It does not seem particularly noisier than our old dryer, and seems to dry both heavy and lighter fabrics within reasonable amounts of time.
I do wish the lint screen was a little sturdier and had a "catcher" for the lint (like a comparable Samsung has), but so far, so good.
We did opt for a service plan because we have heard that there can be difficulties with some LG products and we have never owned LG products before.
Delivery is handled by a third party, contracted service and that part was horrendous. Venting was a major issue and required 2 visits to get the dryer properly vented (long story, but basically full, pre-delivery prep instructions were not given to us).
In the end, all was good, but the delivery process DEFINITELY NEEDS improvement...!

This dryer cord is required for successful hook-up of your new appliance. Our delivery personnel will determine whether a 3- or 4-prong cord is needed based on the outlet behind your existing dryer.

Could Be Slightly Longer

These were the standard power cords sold by Best Buy to accompany the purchase of my new dryer--not the kind of product where you have the opportunity to comparison shop. Would have loved them to be slightly longer, so that I could relocate the dryer to the other side of the washer, but the length is too short. Otherwise, they seem to work fine.

Great Product -- Horrible Deliver Experience

This is the first high efficiency washer--without an agitator--that I've owned and, although we've only had it about a month, we're very happy with it. (No more clothing wrapped so tightly around an agitator that it's a strain to get the clothing out!) The "bloom" technology (no longer having to place the clothes strategically around the base of the tub to make sure it's even) seems to work VERY well. Using a high efficiency detergent means much less detergent--and the clothing comes out clean and fresh. The wash cycles do not seem significantly longer than my old washer, nor significantly noisier than my old washer.
Having never had an LG appliance before, we DID opt for the service agreement, as we've heard of some problems with LG products.
Delivery is done by a third party contracted service (not Best Buy employees). This is where the difficulties come in...the Best Buy folks and the delivery folks do not speak the same "language", so the testing and balancing that Best Buy promised was not done by the delivery people. Additionally, prep instructions for the installations were not good...so it took 2 trips for the full installation.
Overall, I'm pleased with the unit so far.
