Pacific Rim looks absolutely fantastic in 4k. The picture is incredibly crisp and the colors are stunning and very Vivid. If only the acting in the movie was half as good as the visuals this would be a perfect movie. Still I'm rating it 5 out of 5 stars because it is so visually stunning!!

This movie looked pretty great on 4K. I realize it was shot before 4K cameras were available, but it was certainly shot in 1080p and it transfers quite well. The day time scenes are fantastic and I really enjoyed rewatching this movie for the first time in over 5 years. The "night creatures" looked a little too CGI, but again this is an older movie and it certainly didn't take away from the experience.

Even though this is an older movie it looks fantastic in 4K. I did notice the colors were a bit brighter and more vivid than Blu Ray and all of the day time scenes are absolutely stunning. My only real criticism is that you don't get the Ultimate Edition extra scenes on the 4K disc. They are available on the Blu Ray disc that comes with the pack however. Great movie!!!

The resolution on this Fire is amazing. Its great for watching movies, and videos, and reading books or comics on. This tablet is not meant to be a workhorse in terms of being used for processing and work applications. What it is meant for is entertainment and it succeeds. I wish the Amazon Fire store did have more offerings though. I miss some of my Google Play apps.
