Connect Printer to laptop
I have 2 laptop computers with wifi and I just bought a Cannon wifi printer. Do I need a router to be able to use these devices wireless. I am getting my online access from a public wireless network. Do I just connect the printer to the router and then wireless from the computers to router to print
I believe you do need a router. I've only seen printers connect to the network first and then become visible to the computers, but depending on your printer, it may broadcast itself...
