Decent drive but slow

For the brand name and price point I would have expected better transfer speeds. Not compatible with my router for use as a media server unfortunately ( have had success with other models at this price point, even the same brand). Transfer speeds were noticeably slow compared to other drives.

Got this instead of a Surface, but it really doesn't compare. Touch screen not as responsive. However, it is an excellent laptop. Plenty of storage, sturdy and a beautiful screen. May upgrade to SSD later for even better responsiveness, but for now this is already a huge improvement over 3 year old laptop.
