I enjoyed the first three films in the series. This collection is not for everyone. The films are dated, but I found it on sale for $20.00 so it was worth it for a movie buff. Looks great on Blu-ray.

I love some of the old classics but they are not for everyone. This film almost broke the production company that put it out. Compared to the films of today it's hard to imagine. I loved it. Kind of a simple story. Looks almost like a stage play where some of the action takes place off screen. Acting is great. If you like epic films like this, great, but I'm not sure if todays audiences would like its charms.

Old storyline. So how many westerns had the premise of a town needing a hero or group of heroes to save them from bandits? Did this film need to be remade? Probably not. Watched it and thought it was okay. Not worth repeated viewing though.

Not-so "Complete" series is too costly

I'll be honest, I wasn't going to get this collection. I already owned the first two films on Blu-ray. First off, this is the 10 disc set and not the overpriced 15 disc set ($250?). From what I understand is that there is also another 35th Anniversary version which is supposed to be a better transfer of the film. Is this different than the extended TV version? Also not included apparently is the 30th Anniversary version of Halloween 2. What's new? I'm not sure I really needed all these films, but I broke down and paid $35 plus tax. Only two films are actually classics in my opinion. A few are simply awful, two are watchable and when I saw the Rob Zombie films in the theaters, they gave me a headache. In the end, the "complete" collection is not so complete, but for sale it was worth picking up. This collection is only for diehard fans.

Hard to believe this show is ten years old, but the show is just as funny and irreverent as ever. The show has added so many new characters and the writers should give some of them their own show. Very funny season and I was afraid the show would have lost some steam (and it did with Leonard and Penny's marriage and the birth of Howard and Bernadette's baby) but the storyline hasn't faltered. Highly recommended.

You just can't top this one. It was so much fun and fresh. I loved all the characters. It was one of those films (like Star Wars) where dispite any flaws, I just love to watch over and over. The cast is perfect, even the secondary characters where delightful.Jonathan Pryce, Geoffrey Rush and all the pirates of the Black Pearl where perfect. This is a much needed film in any film collection. Just wish the 4 film collection wasn't so expensive.

I love the concept of the film, but the third installment was not as much fun as the first. The jokes are stale, the plots are predictable and I think the saga has run it's course. What makes the film falter is that the human characters are interesting: Jack Sparrow, Barbosa, Will and Elizabeth are great. I love many of the secondary characters, but instead of concentrating on a core group of players we have tons and tons of CGI characters who muddy the waters and big epic scenes takes center stage, while the human storyline and everyone else takes a back seat.
I have yet to see the new film, so we'll see. I haven't heard anything about it which makes me wonder...
