Great, but larger than expected

This is a simple USB 3.0 4 TB portable mechanical hard drive. No surprises in performance at all. The only surprise was the physical size of this. It is thicker than other portable hard drives that I have used. Due to the capacity, I would imagine that it probably has a 12.5 mm drive inside. Still, if you don't mind a little extra thickness, I have nothing bad to say about it.

First, this is not a general-purpose stand-alone streamer (like a Roku). It acts sort of as a virtual 2nd display from either a phone or a PC. From an Android device, you can ONLY stream from apps that have a "stream" button built-in. Most media apps have this, but Amazon Video does not (Amazon being a jerk in an effort to get you to buy a Fire TV). From a PC, you can ONLY use this is you use Chrome, but you can either transmit one Chrome tab, or your entire desktop. If you really need to get a web page on your TV, and you use Chrome, this is a great choice. Otherwise, a Roku (such as the inexpensive Roku Express) is worth the extra money. If you really need to pinch your pennies and can live with the limitations, then this works fine. Just check to make sure that your desired app supports casting. (I did not test this with any Apple devices).

Great bag for a smaller mirrorless

I have a Panasonic GX850, one of the smallest mirrorless cameras made, and it fits perfectly in this bag with the kit lens attached, along with a 2nd longer zoom lens thrown in too. The quality is great, it features both a strap and a belt loop, and includes a protective rain cover. It is a little large for belt carry, but it can be done.
I suggest bringing your camera in so that you can size it.

Best tiny budget travel tripod, but not for all

First, this is NOT a great tripod. Yes, it is downright awful. However, given its size and its price, it is the ONLY option in its class. Yes, this tripod is under one pound, and it even almost fits in a front pants pocket. The best part is that you can take it home for under a Jackson!
This is great for setting the self-timer on your camera and taking a selfie. It is also adequate for a long exposure, if you are careful, maybe. However, this thing is wobbly -- fairly wobbly. It does not go very high (barely chest-high on me), and I used it for a small mirrorless camera. If you use a full-sized SLR, well, this may not be adequate.
There is a simple hinge that will go between portrait and landscape mode. That is it -- a 90 degree rotation. No fine adjustments for irregular terrain, except to flex the legs. This thing was also inadequate to take a panoramic shot, because the panning was not smooth, and the up-and-down jitter was too extreme. I also tried taking some nighttime long exposures (up to a minute) and there was some shaking due to the stiff wind at the time.
So, to summarize, if you want a better tripod meant for travel, it will still be bigger and cost a LOT more. There are some nice carbon-fiber ones for about eight or ten times the price, and those might be good options, but they are also longer. However, I am still keeping this. If I am hiking up the side of a mountain, this one is small and light enough that I won't mind carrying it too much, despite its flaws.

Great radios -- USB charging!!!

These are great radios. However, that is not what makes them rather unique. They are chargeable via USB! There are micro-USB ports on the sides, and it also comes with a cradle featuring a micro-USB jack, and can hold and charge both radios at the same time.
The only other company doing this is Cobra, but they have apparently discontinued all of their GMRS products... Take that for what it is worth.
These radios feature all of the usual stuff that you would expect in a higher-end model: decent amount of power, the full 21 channels, coded squelch, and NOAA weather receive.
One thing to note is that this model ONLY has 21 channels, as that is all that you can have by LAW. Channels 22 and up are just a repeat of the other channels and up, but with preset coded squelch: in other words, a useless marketing gimmick. Also keep in mind that the FRS-only frequencies are limited to 1/2 watt by law, and the manual does not go out of its way to tell you this.

Great little high-end laptop

First of all, I am still amazed at how small and light this thing is! It is zippy for office work, and seems very well built.
Really, the only thing that I consider to be "bad" about this is the complete absence of legacy USB ports. It only has USB type "C" connectors, one on each side. It does come with a port replicator that turns the left USB-C port into: power in (USB-C), USB 3.0, and HDMI. Using an small box to add these ports seems clumsy, but I guess that there is not a lot of room for more ports.
The screen is great (1920x1080), no 4K. However, with a screen this size, 4K would require a microscope to see it.
Keep in mind that this is NOT a workstation, despite having an i7 processor. This thing is THIN, so not a lot of room to dissipate heat. There is a fan and exhaust vent on board, but when running hard, this little thing gets toasty. This is all part of having a laptop that is about 1 cm thick -- it has horsepower for quick bursts, but it not meant to do hard processing all day long without burning a hole in your pants.

Nice router, but parental control fails!

This is a nice router for the price. However, I purchased this brand because of their easy integration with OpenDNS for parental control. However, I could not log into my OpenDNS account using the Windows version of their Genie software, which is needed to administer it. The exact same login worked great using the Android version of Genie, so something is broken in Windows Genie. Eventually, I just gave up and used a "Circle with Disney" device (also at Best Buy) for parental control, so I am just using this as a plain router.
It does have a VPN server built-in (but I have not tested it), and it has places to plug in USB storage, and Netgear supplies backup software (not tested either, but I plan to soon).

A solid, if unusual, humidifier

First, this is an ultrasonic humidifier -- the kind that requires the least maintenance. It requires keeping the water level constant over a piezoelectric disc. Other ultrasonics that I have used kept the disc at the bottom, and used a removable tank to hold the water. This one is COMPLETELY different -- it uses an open design, with the disc at the top! How does it get the water up there? It actually includes a water pump that keeps water circulating. The water is pumped up, and extra water just trickles over the side back into the reservoir. So, yes there is a moving part that might break, and the pump makes some noise. There is also a water filter (supposedly for harness) that will also have to be occasionally replaced. However, it does work, and works well. It is nice not having to lift up the tank to refill it -- you just pour water in using a pitcher.
Overall, it makes a little noise, but it works well. The only real annoyance is the bright blue LED illuminating the water level.

My galaxy luna keeps telling me my storage is almost full. 3.85 gigs are used for system memory and my internal memory is showung less than 1 gig being used....wheres the resf of my memory and how can i delete whats using it?
This is common for Android devices. A good part of your memory is "reserved" for the system and you cannot touch it. This includes Android itself and all built-in programs. The rest is yours, but this includes newer version of the built-in programs. Yes, you likely have two copies of "Google Maps, "Chrome," and "Gmail" on your phone -- the old version in system memory and the new version in user memory.
What you have to do is first to install a decent micro-SD card. At least 16 GB, but bigger is always better. Find an app (like AppMgr Pro III) that will find all apps that can be moved to the SD card and move everything that you can. This will help a lot. Also, find any pre-installed apps that you know that you will not use; uninstall the updates and then disable the app so that they are not re-updated. Finally, move all of your media files (movies, photos, music, etc.) so the micro-SD card.

This unit only comes with two sets of tips: standard and small. However, these use pretty much the same tip mounting system as every other pair of earbuds that I have seen. So, if you have a set of tips that fit you well, you should be able to put those on this product in about 30 seconds.
