What is the difference between a PlayStation gift card and a 12-month membership to the PlayStation Network
12 month membership is better if you are extending your subscription. You can get it on sale for less to extend the membership. The plus card adds money to your account but if you have to extend your membership, it will cost the full price. Membership card is better for membership extension if you get the card on sale.
