Really enjoyed this film. Anette Benning is a wonderful actress. Loved her in American Beauty and the Kids Are Alright. The biggest surprise was the relationship the the kid had with all three women. He acted very convincingly. Good story.

Having seen this film in the movies a few years back and enjoyed it then. It is a film you can easily watch over again often. The acting was very credible and the story very moving. The end was effective and left you feeling a struggle of which side to take. Leaving you to think alot about the world today.

I had to empathize with the struggle of these characters. It was a well done movie. Seeing how well directed it was. The film deals with issues that are very current today as well as less spoken of in the African American community. They portrayed it all very effectively.

I enjoyed this film and its emotional weight. Very well written script. The way C. Affleck portrayed a quietly suffering and deeply hurt man with a past was well-acted. Michelle Williams is one of my favorite actresses and though a small role she did it beautifully and convincingly. Worth it.
