This dryer cord is required for successful hook-up of your new appliance. Our delivery personnel will determine whether a 3- or 4-prong cord is needed based on the outlet behind your existing dryer.

It is bulky and IMO is not needed. A regular dryer vent hose would work just fine. I am only using half of the vent hose and not the bulky pieces it came with.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like this dryer. I paired it with an HE washer because I don't care about the units matching. It has a huge capacity. I dry double loads from the washer in it (wash two loads and dry them both at the same time). No frills, easy to operate.

I bought this washer because I was concerned about saving water. It has worked great so far. I like the top loading the best. The clothes come out just damp and super clean. The only thing you have to remember is to load it in a way where the load is balanced. If you are short you may need a step stool to reach the bottom of the drum.
