I heard and read a lot of bad reviews for Warcraft. As a long-time fan of the games, I enjoyed this. There was a lot packed into a short timeframe but it's still fun. I didn't expect top-notch special effects, but they're pretty good. I didn't think all of the acting was amazing but, most of it's good.
Simply put, it's a fun, fantasy film. I would definitely recommend it.

Not a complete return to form

I've listened to every Metallica album at least once. Just LISTENED, not purchased. Honestly, the last Metallica album I bought before this one was The Black Album the day it came out. At the time, I liked most of it. Everything they did after that just didn't hold my interest for several reasons that I won't burden you with here.
Fortunately, this album is much more enjoyable for me. Between all 3 CDs though, I feel like it could be condensed to 1 extremely solid CD. The studio tracks on 3rd disc really feel like they didn't need to see the light of day, at least in their current form.
Overall, as a fan since the late 80s, I think this is worth buying. It's definitely get back to the style of Metallica that I loved, but not quite there. Overall, it's solid enough and I would LOVE to see them on tour.
