Cameras work great. My only gripe would be the size of the power cable. You need to drill a rather large hole 7/8" if you want to run your cabling into your house.
Other than that, I don't mind paying the subscription fee in order to get 10 days of cloud storage.
Video quality is great and they keep improving their app.

Works well with great color, but....

I bought this because I didn't want a hub to control my lights. Turns out I might need to.
These lights work off of Bluetooth, so I was limited in how I could access the bulbs. Sure I could have set up vacation mode, etc., but the whole point was so that I could control them remotely. I think I may have needed a SmartThings hub and some IFTTT in order to make it work.
The colors were amazing and this was the only smart bulb that was rated for outside.
I ended up returning these bulbs in hopes that maybe Hue will come out with an outdoor rated bulb.
I recommend it, but make sure it fits your needs first.

Great outdoor camera. Thank you Nest for finally coming out with an outdoor version. I have 1 outdoor and 4 indoor Nestcams and they are great. Video quality is excellent as well as the audio.
Now that Nest automatically includes 3 hours of NestAware, it's even better.
They recently updated their app so that you can make clips straight from the app. Thanks Nest!

If you can view the video in real time on a computer, why can't you save it to your hard drive or even burn a CD or DVD (rewriteables)? IOW, why do you ever have to send it to their cloud? The monthly accessing fee is just another expense forever!
