Not enough Godzilla in the movie. You only get to see him fight the bad monster at the end. And the advertised star of the movie dies half way thru. But it's still a Godzilla movie so it gets 3 stars.

Okay Movie

This was an okay Sci-Fi movie. I work in the computer field and know how important cooling is for data centers but the whole drop the mainframe in a coolant vat was weird. What if they lost gravity? Where would all that coolant go? Over all I liked the movie and would watch it again.

It was a good story. Jack Ryan stories always are. The action was really good and even the slower plot pieces kept you engaged. You were sorry to see it end.

Cross Platform support
Does this passport have proprietary Windows software preinstalled on it? The reason I ask is because I would be using it with mainly Macs and Linux-based computers. I need a general harddrive that all of the operating systems can use.
There is software preinstalled but you can format the drive for use with a MAC. There are apps for MAC on the drive as well as windows. You may want to take a look before getting rid of them. It's just some backup software and security software.

Could this back-up an SD card full of pictures without being connected to an laptop or the internet?
No. It requires an operating system to be useful. It has to be connected to a system running either Windows, Mac iOS or Linux.
