Best substitute for Google Home

I found this one as the deal of the day. Because I moved to the 2-story house and all kids' room are upstairs, I tried to find a good way to communicate them. I used one Google Home and its "announcement" feature. From description, I found that this one is compatible with Google Assistant, and gave it a try.
Not as good as Google Home for the speaker quality, but it is good enough for communication from downstairs to upstairs. I put two of them into each kid's room, and I use it when the dinner is ready or so. And my 5th grade kid uses it as its own alarm, and the younger daughter asks Google to play some music in the morning!
Great substitute with great price.

I had to buy this one since my old desk top has no wireless adapter. Everything works as expected. Only reason I did not give 5 stars is that it is very hot while working. Considering wireless component gets hot easily due to transmission parts, but it gets hot up to the point where I wonder it may fail due to heat.
