Samsung 4 K TV has great sound. Add the matching sound bar and the sound is really nice. Put the rear speakers in the system and sound is great and the surround sound makes it terrific.

Does this sound bar have to be updated to get Atmos
You can get Atmos but pay attention to the audio hook up. There is info for this in the supplied paper work and the on screen E-Manual.

Will they only work with Samsung TVs or will they work with vizio and others?
The current sound systems are matched to the TV brand for best results. The mfg have their own tricks for best results with their TV system. You can mix some components but is best to stay with same mfg. Keep the years close together. Older TV might not know how to deal with newer smart gear.

Are the legs adjustable? The other model had two slots so you can move the legs either towards the end or more towards the center of the TV.

Audio Problems w/ Soundbar? I returned last years model (Q8) because of audio "lip-sync" issues with Samsung soundbar (optical connection). Also, unless I dumbed down the audio quality from Dolby I got random garbled audio. Anyone tested this on the Q80?
I am not currently using the optical connection. The on screen e-manual has some info to address "lip-sync". So far not had any garbled audio issues. Sound system works with what you watching. Old black/white movie and you get normal TV sound. Commercial comes on and sound goes into big time mode. Watch movie with good sound track and system really shines with the surround sound.

What is the maufacurer's warranty on this tv? Costco states it is 5 years. Is that correct?

Can you explain the differences between the LEDQ8O and LEDQ8K etc.
LEDQ80 is 4K TV and will up scale to near 4K. The LEDQ80 is a very nice TV and can be had at very good price. The 8K TV are the very new stuff and very expensive for now.

Do I need to remove the clear protective film that comes on the screen, or I can just leave it there since i m planning to relocate soon.
I still have the film on mine since haven't had TV very long. Should be able to wait until after relocated to decide on removing it. It makes dusting the screen easy. Don't use any cleaning chemicals on screen with or without the protective film.

How is the Q-80 for gaming [ lag time ] and also the upgrading of HDR ?
I have an older PS 4 and currently only have run Rock Band. The TV does very well on up scaling the graphics. I have had a small amount of lag while playing songs but it is not constant. So far it is random and hasn't caused any serious problem. On this game it was easy to adapt to the lag except for first time it happened. Think if the PS 4 and the Rock Band were 4 K it would be fine. Appears to be right on the edge of the up scaling. The Rock Band looks great and easy to deal with the slight lag. Not able to run a 4 k game at this time. TV is great on 4 K programs from on line.
