Classic movie gets a phenomenal 4K release!

With the glut of superhero movies in the past 20 years, it's amazing not only how well this movie has aged but how refreshing it actually is to watch it today. And this 4K release is a marvelous thing of beauty! The picture clarity and gorgeous blacks and colors makes you almost feel like you are watching a new movie instead of a 30 year old film. Sound quality is also incredible.

This is one of my favorite movies of all time. While this doesn't look as good as your normal modern 4K release due to the age and filming techniques of the time it was made, this is still the best the movie has ever looked. Color especially benefits from Dolby Vision. The sound is near perfect.

This is destined to be a Halloween classic! Fans of the books will find much to enjoy with all the Easter Eggs to be seen in the movie, and the monsters look incredibly good. Jack Black is a hoot as R.L. Stine and the voice of Slappy the Dummy. Danny Elfman's score is one of his best in years. Even the ending is pure Goosebumps gold
