The Towering Inferno is one if my favorite movies, so I consider this the 2000s version with way less star power.

Cool movie for kids

I am not a big basketball fan, but it was cool seeing basketball players like Kyrie Irving and Shaquille O'Neal playing senior citizen basketball players preparing for one last game as a team. As usual, there is a little humor that goes over the kids' heads, but it was very enjoyable.

Just when I stopped singing the soundtrack to the first Lego movie (Who can ever really stop singing "Everything is Awesome?") they topped it with an even catchier soundtrack. What I like about these movies is that while watching the movie from the Lego characters' point of view, you are eventually introduced to the humans and their version of what is going on while playing with their toys. I love these movies!

I really liked the first Goosebumps movie, and this one did not disappoint as well. The subplot involving Nikolo Tesla, who is my favorite scientist and who I have taught my son about, made me smile. I was afraid it would be a little too scary for him, but he was never afraid, so hopefully your kiddos can watch it as well without fear.

It is a great lesson in perspective-- we as humans are afraid of yetis (or Bigfoot) and they are afraid of humans (smallfoot) because we simply are not familiar and comfortable with each other. It is a lesson that is so pertinent in today's society. The soundtrack is awesome and the movie is an easy one to enjoy.
