This was an excellent movie with Mark Walburg demonstrating once again why he’s an A list actor. Based on the events leading up to the horrific Boston Marathon bombing.

Mark Wahlberg leads an all-star cast in this unforgettably powerful film inspired by a thrilling story of real-life heroes. For the one hundred and twenty-six people aboard the Deepwater Horizon offshore oil rig, April 20, 2010, began like any normal day. Before day's end, the world would bear witness to one of the greatest man-made disasters in U.S. history. DEEPWATER HORIZON reveals the brave acts of the men and women who rose to the challenge-and risked everything to lead others to safety.

DOESN'T SUPPORT DTS AUDIO!!!
By Anonymous
My expectations for this TV were high after seeing the 2020 R635, and the 2021 R646 and the great picture quality and value. This TV looks good and almost improved upon the last 2 iterations, but has SERIOUS flaws. I spent hours testing features and troubleshooting and the deal breaker was it doesn't support DTS audio. This is a HUGE omission! Sure you can do Atmos pass through and emulation of other formats, but even with my xbox one x plugged directly into the soundbar, the TV somehow manages to block the passthrough of DTSX movies (which works on my old TV from 2016), so while you can passthrough Atmos, if you have a single DTSX movie (which is pretty likely), then it will fail to load until you disable all passthrough. You have to do lossy formats instead, including for atmos if you want all formats. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?!
Beware, after researching other TVs of 2022, it looks like there are a few TVs following a trend of omitting DTS passthrough...
Also, the AV (RCA) jack doesn't work. The sound comes through but the image is all scrambled like it doesn't understand how to process it. I've got older video game consoles that work perfectly on other TVs and inputs, but don't work on the AV jack and it's not either of my adapters. I think they just bank on nobody using it. When I called TCL support for both of these issues, they essentially wrote both off and there was nothing they can do.
Also the CEC features don't work completely. the TV will turn on and off as necessary but it won't auto-switch inputs even though I've toggled that setting over and over. Do they even test these TVs?
Minor note that the 144Hz is only for 1080p which I thought was very misleading.
Also I think this panel is actually a 4096 x 2160 instead of a typical 3840 x 2160 4k because that was the default for PC on a few things and I was getting some weird formatting on various older 4:3 content. Just messes everything up by manufacturing the wrong size panel! Who's in charge over there?
Also Roku demands you to set up an account to even use your TV if you connect to the net, which is so fascist.

When hooked up via HDMI eArc to my Onkyo TX-RZ720 AVR, DTS:X displays as the format on the front of my receiver when looking at current setting within the receiver’s audio formatting options and watching a DTS:X coded movie on 4K Ultra HD disc. Not sure if there’s been an update since you posted or just an issue with your tv or setup, but mine works fine as it should. I just got this tv a couple days ago and it updated on initial setup.

Why do the colors on my TV look muted? If this could be fixed, this TV would be perfect and I would not have to return it. Also, for HBO max, why does th picture quality seem to go into SDR and not full screen? Enlightened minds would love to know.

Try the asterisk button on the remote when viewing a movie, etc and this opens a menu on the left side of the screen with options for picture settings, etc. Open picture settings and then you have options to adjust TV brightness, picture mode and other features that change the experience. In reference to your HBO Max question and SDR, that is two separate questions. First, movies are often in widescreen format which gives the black bars above and below the video. SDR is standard definition resolution unless the video was produced in high definition resolution (HDR) so SDR will be default and has nothing to do with the black bars. Not all programming or movies are in HDR. Again you can adjust the brightness and picture mode of what you are viewing. The TV picture and viewing experience is great but I do adjust at times depending on what I’m viewing. Good luck!

Enjoy nonstop entertainment with the Roku Streaming Stick+. Its wireless receiver provides a strong signal for smooth streaming in rooms far from the router, and it supports 4K, HD and HDR resolutions for crisp, colorful pictures. Take this compact Roku Streaming Stick+ with you on vacation for enjoying shows away from home.

I have 1040 hd LG tv. The roku I use now is 1040 hd. Can I use the 4k on my tv as well? What's the difference? Besides higher quality. Please

You’re tv is actually 1080 hd and even though this Roku Stick is 4K, you’re tv will only produce up to a 1080 quality image because of your tv’s limitations. This is my same setup I currently use as I still have a 1080 tv and just recently purchased this same Roku stick. I’d still go for this Roku Stick over the other options because of the better wireless capabilities, better processor and potential to have 4K video quality in the future if you were to upgrade your tv to 4K.

Will the Ubp-X700 work with my Toshiba Fire tv edition?

Of course. Works with any TV via a high speed HDMI cable. Just make sure your cable is rated for 4K and HDR if your TV is capable because the cable has to be rated for it to get the best quality display on your TV.
