Tried a different soundbar at first but it just didn't stack up to this bad boy. Loud, clear and surprisingly heavy piece of audio equipment. Clearly made well with good components. Sounds great and while not a complete replacement for the 5.1 system i had with a receiver and towers and sub.. Its small package fits lets it fit just about anywhere (a mantle in my case) and it truly sounds (almost) as good as my previous setup. if you are looking to remove the clutter of a traditional audio system, give a sounder a try.

Washing machine installation went well but dryer was a different story. Crew called me during installation not knowing what to do since there wasn't a vent in the wall. I planned to use a indoor dry kit but they gave me/us a hard time and acted annoyed that this was the case. Essentially the same work on their end so confused why they would be annoyed. Wired machine and just left it in place. Thought they would have at least installed the dryer vent itself. Overall, a little unprofessional.

I have had these models in a past house and after finding out my sister was moving into a new house I bought them for her as well. I knew it would be a good purchase. Built well and they look amazing in person. With that said, I was less than excited about the delivery company that came to install these. One guy was quite rude and appeared to be unwilling to help with an slightly unusual installation for the dryer. Great items but like i said this installation left a bad taste in my mouth.

If I buy the 4 camera system, how many more cameras can I eventually add?
I can’t recall the exact amount but I believe it was 20. The Arlo site is helpful for the specific type of information you need and also goes on to explain the use of multiple base station to address this. I will say that once you go past 5 cameras the free basic plan won’t work and you will need to upgrade your account to handle the additional cameras. Something to keep in mind but wouldn’t necessarily think of it as a deterrent.

That tower is what is connected to the internet and what the cameras connect to. Technically it’s the base station for your system and is needed until you get to the very high end cameras Ultra camera system I believe. It’s very small. It’s needs power and internet. Setup is super busy beyond that.

Is there a monitor I can buy for these cameras? Don’t want to use only my smart phone
Technically no, but being a cloud based system it’s simply meant to be viewed or manipulated via your cell phone. With that said, you CAN view the same thing you would from your phone on a laptop or desktop computer by signing in to the MyArlo site. I do this in my home office and it’s very convenient due to now having a larger screen, not holding your phone, etc.
