When I checked my computer in for service, the gentleman who helped me was very professional, kind and courteous, not to mention patient with me as he explained how the procedure would work. A week later when I returned to pick up the same computer, things could not have been more different. I was belittled, spoken to rudely, and lied to by the manager of tech support by his claiming to be the store manager. The store manager on duty was even worse in her approach to me and how she spoke to me. When I attempted to explain how the tech manager had spoken to me, she all but called me a liar and told me I was wrong and that the tech manager said or did nothing wrong. When I asked did she condone the way he acted, she said yes she did. To top all this off, a man acting as security decided the 6 feet social distancing guideline did not apply to him as he proceeded to position himself right next to me. As I stood there balancing on my cane, Each time I would try to shift myself some(standing with a bad back is painful), he would likewise position himself near me. Guess those with disabilities or elderly are not welcome to shop at this store. Later when at another nearby store, I was thanking one of the employees of that store for being so kind, which was in sharp contrast to the way I was treated at Best Buy, another customer overheard my conversation and said he had been treated rudely at the same store months before and even complained to Best Buys corporate office. He likewise said he has not shopped at this same store since.
