The unit was quiet, cold, and worked with the remote like a dream. The issue was that it sucked hot air down from the attic vent, and was not much of a gain. Dual hose systems cost more, but draw air from the outside, so that the house is not creating a vacuum. Would be awesome for a dorm or apartment, just not for a house with a ceiling fan.
