This gets very loud for indoor and outdoor parties. The only 2 issues I have is that the custom equalizer does not have adjustment to get as loud as the preset equalizer options. The second issue is a bigger issue and I would have given 5 stars is this was not an issue. I only pick up 1 FM radio station and it is not 100% clear all the time. With other radios I have I can pick up most all local radio station with little to no static which is 12 stations. This is frustrating as I am a radio person.

Nothing helped except for outside use which I can only pick up a few more stations. I have a boombox with a small wire antenna that picks up a lot of stations in the same location as the Sony V71. I tried another boombox with a metal antenna that also picked up lots of stations.
