Perfect Height

Our old washer was starting to act up so we determined that we wanted a washer, dryer, and two pedestals. After reviewing various website, we determined what we wanted and our local best buy had the set on display and on sale. Compared to other business, the out the door price was $300 cheaper and that did not included the $275 gift card incentive that Best Buy was running.
As far as the pedestals, they are great. Results in the washer and dryer sitting at chest level (I'm 5'10") and I can still fold laundry on the top of the washer and dryer. Our laundry room is off the garage, so we are using the slide out drawer for shoes and we can get about 6 pairs in the drawer.

Great Dryer

After reviewing various website, we determined what we wanted and our local best buy had the set on display and on sale. Compared to other business, the out the door price was $300 cheaper and that did not included the $275 gift card incentive that Best Buy was running.
As far as the dryer, so far so good. We haven't used the steam option yet but the other settings work as they should. The lint tray is sturdy and does a great job of collecting all the lint and not leaving it everywhere when you remove the dray.

This gas line is required for successful hook-up of your new dryer in your home. Our delivery personnel will determine what type of gas line is needed based on your local housing code.

We'll deliver, install and make sure your new gas dryer is working. We'll connect it to existing local utilities and outside venting. Additional charges may apply if not up to local codes or requirements.

Installers were great, but beware of charges

Due to a recent back injury, I was not able to install these on my own so I elected to pay for the installation. Upon purchase, I was made aware that installer could have minimal additional fees based on setup. Minnesota updated plumbing codes in 2016 so some additions to the gas line along with the water outlet in a $450 charge. As I stated, I was not able to handle these changes myself so went ahead and paid for it.
Later that week, I did go to Best Buy and expressed my displeasure as when I agreed to minimal charges, I assumed maybe $100-200. The manager at the Oakdale Best Buy was great and offered to split the cost with me and refunded $225 of our purchase.
Bottom line is the installers did do their job and do need to adhere to code so I can't blame them but the third party company and Best Buy should have a better way of communicating these issues to customers.
