I left the foam insert inside as my Chromebook was smaller, and it fits great. If I ever drop my laptop, it will have a better chance of survival. Definitely recommend.

These are great especially for walking outside or cycling or anywhere where hearing traffic around you is an issue. If you turn up the volume then ambient noise becomes less noticeable, which is nice too since you can adjust or balance out the music vs ambient noise. I love them.........I do have quite a few sets of headphones, Bose, Klipsch, sound quality on these are 4/5 compared to traditional headphones. When exercising they do stay put.

I understand how you could be upset....but that’s not Sony’s fault. Take them back to Best Buy and chew them out. Don’t knock an excellent product because some employee screwed up. Perhaps these should have been sold as open box for reduced price. This is the same as giving a bad review because you received one day late, c’mon.
