New TV for Grandma!

So mom called, said her old 27" finally went dark for good. Had Best Buy ship this to her. Took 2 weeks due to the stupid pandemic. TV arrived in good shape, along with a sound bar and wall mount. I have the 6 series and love it. The set up is the same. She has an ancient cable box from what I can determine. Everything synched up the first time and works great. The ROKU is too much for her so it comes up with her favorite channel from the cable box. Only bug was if you held down the channel changer on her cable remote, the sound on the sound bar kept going up. She's happy though, and will be able to see and hear her shows.

Great set of lights behind a 65" TV

Bought a new 65" TCL before Christmas and after mounting it on the wall in the man cave, I debated putting lights behind it for awhile. I like it darker for viewing and the more I researched, the more I liked the idea. Now, which set of lights to get? The Wally store has them for $4.95..... same as .25 cent hamburger.
So glad I went with these for (4) reasons. (1) The power cord can reach through the wall down to the power strip easily. Something like 8+ feet should be plenty of length for most wall mounted set ups. (2) This 9.8' length will cover the top, both sides and @6"-8" into the bottom of the 65" TV. I'm about 6-7" from the sides, with the TV tilted down and didn't feel the need for a bunch of light on the bottom of the TV. I absolutely love the way it turned out. (3) The 3M backing on the strips are not going anywhere. I was tempted to loop the corners but just curved them around, Worked fine and the 3M adhesive will hold till the TV falls off the wall. (4) The colors, whites, brightness, themes, phone app, connectivity are all first rate. I can match the room, the scene... totally customizable. I don't need it bouncing with the music but for whatever you're watching, it will make your TV look sharper and better.
If you want to go all the way around on a 65" TV, you'll need the additional strip, which you'll likely need to cut. Should work great on a 70" or 75".
These connect to my wifi without a hub which is nice. They're not the cheapest (I got $10 off for my birthday month). If they go on sale of the day, I'll pick another up for the bedroom TV.

Returned to vinyl a couple years ago and had some BB Reward $$ to spend. My original was in rough shape to picked up a new LZ 4. Sat down in the man cave last Saturday with no one home, put the stylus down and just listened, straight through. Can honestly say I heard things on this album I've never heard before. Just beautiful. All the artwork is there. Sometimes, it's just nice to sit back and enjoy the memories and the music.

I am unplugging Comcast Cable/TV. If I understand correctly, I will need to purchase my own router vs. Comcast's, already have a HDMI cable, but not sure if it is 4K, will I need another set? Also have a mount for a 52" TV...need a different one?
I'm not on Comcast but with my provider package, I stopped cable TV and just have Internet. This TV connects wirelessly to your home wireless internet for streaming TV. The ROKU apps are a breeze to use and the remote is simple and connected to my receiver flawlessly. If you need HDMI cables make sure to get HDMI with Ethernet cables for 4K. The mount may or may not work, depends on the mounting spacing. I'd recommend getting a new one that swivels out. Much easier to connect any cables. Have had this TV for 8 weeks and love it.
